About the Role: We have an amazing opportunity for a Training Coordinator and are looking for an organised and customer-focused individual to support the successful delivery of commercial and government-funded training programmes. This role is ideal for someone with excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Working closely with the sales, training and marketing teams, you will coordinate training courses from enquiry through to completion, ensuring an outstanding experience for clients, delegates and trainers while maintaining accurate records and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of open programme courses and bespoke client training programmes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for training enquiries from clients and trainers.
  • Manage the shared training inbox, responding to enquiries and directing requests to the appropriate team members.
  • Process CRM course bookings, issue confirmations and invoices, and maintain accurate delegate records.
  • Schedule pre-course briefings, arrange course logistics and support trainers to ensure smooth programme delivery.
  • Maintain accurate information within the CRM system, recording enquiries, opportunities, bookings and delegate information.
  • Research prospective clients and identify potential business opportunities, passing qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Collect and analyse post-course feedback, identifying sales opportunities and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
  • Ensure all course materials are current, organised and easily accessible.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support the promotion of upcoming training programmes and website updates.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports covering bookings, delegates, revenue and training activity.
  • Process trainer and supplier invoices, ensuring costs are accurately recorded and any discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, trainers and internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Attend team meetings to support training planning, scheduling and continuous improvement.
  • Provide general administrative support and assist colleagues as required.

About You

Essential Experience

  • Experience working in a customer-focused, commercial or target-driven environment.
  • Previous experience coordinating training, learning and development, events or similar administrative activities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage customer information and sales activity.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Experience within the training, learning and development or education sector.
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
  • Experience supporting sales teams or commercial operations.
  • Knowledge of government-funded training programmes.
