Inventory Control Lead in St. Albans

We have an amazing opportunity for an Inventory Supervisor to join our growing team. You will have a drive and desire to want to learn and grow within a procurement/supply chain environment and be interested about learning the newest technology within the fire and security industry (full training provided). You will be a great team worker and offer support where needed to ensure our procurement department is as efficient and effective as possible.

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (plus travel expenses)

The successful candidate will:

Be responsible for receipting the goods in our warehouse and packaging them up ready for our engineering team to deliver the jobs on time and within budget.

Be responsible for inventory control and ensuring our stock levels are where they need to be (both warehouse and engineer van stock).

As the role develops you will be able to pre programme and technically support our field-based team with the technology equipment we use.

Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise.

Ensuring the warehouse is clean & tidy and complies with health & safety regulations. Support with the management of recycled goods ensuring items are recycled where possible in line with our sustainability policy.
