The Role
We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Employer Engagement Officer to support the successful delivery of a Jobs Guarantee Programme, helping unemployed adults move into sustainable employment. You will build strong relationships with employers and participants, identify suitable vacancies, support job matching and coordinate referrals, onboarding, interviews and ongoing employment support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong employer relationships and partnerships.
- Engage with local businesses to identify job vacancies and employment opportunities.
- Carry out employer outreach, networking and cold calling.
- Support participant referrals, onboarding and engagement.
- Match participants to suitable vacancies and employment opportunities.
- Coordinate employer interviews, workshops and recruitment activity.
- Maintain accurate records and programme documentation.
- Support evidence collection for job outcomes and sustained employment.
- Provide ongoing communication and support to participants and employers.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve programme, engagement and employment targets.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Employer Engagement, Recruitment, Employability or Employment Services.
- Experience supporting unemployed adults or jobseekers.
- Strong business development, networking and client relationship management skills.
- Confident carrying out cold calling and employer outreach.
- Experience working in a target-driven or commercial environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
