We’re seeking a passionate English Tutor to join the education team at a young people’s secure environment. This is a chance to inspire, motivate, and help shape brighter futures.
What you’ll be doing:
- Teaching English qualifications from Entry Level up to Level 3.
- Designing lessons that engage and encourage progression.
- Supporting learners through tutorials, feedback, and assessments.
- Working with colleagues to keep teaching standards Good/Outstanding.
- Playing a key role in helping learners prepare for life beyond custody.
What we’re looking for:
- Teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, DTTLS etc.) with English specialism.
- Experience delivering and assessing English qualifications.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to motivate challenging cohorts.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusive education.
What’s on offer:
- Salary £40,500 – £45,500 (DOE).
- 8 weeks’ holiday per year.
