We are looking for an experienced construction professional to step into a leadership role within an education setting supporting disengaged learners. You will support the Education Manager in leading the construction curriculum, ensuring the needs of learners and employers are met. You will drive quality assurance and improvement, manage staff and learners, and promote innovative, solution-focused teaching to raise standards and achieve key performance targets. You will play a key role in curriculum development, staff performance, and quality processes, while delivering sessions where required.
Key Requirements:
- Background in Painting & Decorating, Carpentry or Multi-Trade
- Relevant vocational qualification in construction (minimum Level 3 or above)
- Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- IQA qualification (or D32/D33/A1 equivalent)
- Experience managing or mentoring staff and improving performance
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and curriculum development
- Passion for education and developing others
Location: This is a fully site-based role in Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
