We have an amazing opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee Assessor. In this role, you will already have Health and Social Care experience and use your knowledge to help employed learners achieve their goals by delivering high-quality training and assessment, while supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.
What you'll do:
- You will be trained to deliver training programmes and workplace assessments to learners across a regional area within Healthcare.
- Support learners with Individual Learning Plans and on-the-job assessments.
- Develop and deliver course materials to meet awarding body requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of learner achievements.
- Work and develop to build strong relationships with employers and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure quality standards, safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance are met.
What we're looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Occupational experience in your area of delivery.
- Willingness to work towards the Assessor Award (CAVA).
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Desirable: Experience in work-based learning or apprenticeships.
- Assessor qualifications (CAVA/TAQA) or willing to train and work towards Essential Skills delivery experience.
- Ability to communicate in Welsh.
