As Education Programme Manager, you'll take the lead in delivering outstanding results across apprenticeship and vocational programmes. You'll guide and motivate a team of assessors to exceed contractual targets, elevate learner experiences, and ensure excellence in compliance and quality. This isn't just about hitting numbers; it's about creating a high-performance culture where learners thrive, employers stay engaged, and teams feel empowered.
What You'll Be Driving:
- Leading and developing a team of assessors to achieve compliance and learner achievement targets
- Managing performance metrics including starts, leavers, occupancy, and achievers
- Collaborating with quality teams to ensure accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement
- Conducting impactful monthly 1-1s to maximise performance and growth
- Strengthening employer engagement and supporting repeat business
- Championing equality, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing
- Implementing quality frameworks and driving meaningful change
- Analysing management information to inform smart, strategic decisions
- Ensuring adherence to professional standards, safeguarding, and HR policies
Who We're Looking For:
- You're a confident, driven leader with proven education management experience
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong organisational and resource training management skills
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A results-focused mindset
- IT proficiency
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- A strong understanding of safeguarding
Bonus points if you have:
- Work-based learning experience in education, training or IQA management
- A management or team leading qualification of Assessors in training or apprenticeships
- Knowledge of publicly funded education or work-based learning and training programmes
- The ability to speak Welsh (desirable)
