Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm (35 hours per week)

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Children & Young People Qualified Assessor to support apprentices on their learning journey within Health and Social Care. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about developing learners, maintaining high training standards, and making a genuine difference to future professionals in the sector. You will provide structured, end-to-end support to learners, ensuring they are fully prepared to progress and successfully achieve their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver CYP high-quality, learner-centred assessments tailored to individual needs
  • Travel across a regional area to conduct workplace assessments
  • Develop, complete, and review Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for children and young people
  • Assess and evaluate workplace evidence against qualification standards
  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress, and guided learning hours
  • Support learners to meet performance targets and complete their programmes
  • Arrange and contribute to additional training, including day release and in-house sessions
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body and audit requirements

Essential Requirements

  • A recognised teaching or assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent) or PGCE
  • Experience working within an apprenticeship environment with
