Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to join a highly advanced engineering and manufacturing business specialising in precision-engineered products and complex manufacturing processes. This role will involve supporting new product introduction (NPI), improving manufacturing processes, leading 8D and RMA activities, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and production operations. You will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing manufacturing costs, supporting production readiness, and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and operational performance.
Working Hours
- Full-time permanent position
- Flexible shifts within opening hours
- Monday to Thursday
- Early finish on Fridays
- No weekend work
Qualifications
- Degree or HNC in Engineering or related discipline
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience using CAD software
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Experience supporting manufacturing process improvement activities
- Experience carrying out root cause analysis and problem-solving investigations
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

- Experience supporting NPI activities
- Experience with 8D, RMA, BOMs, routing, or production readiness activities
- Hands-on engineering or assembly experience involving complex assemblies
