DBS Carpenter Required! RecruitEasy is looking for an experienced DBS Carpenter to work for our client based in Taunton, Somerset.

Duration: 2/3 days

Start Date: 26-05-2026

Pay Rate: £19.00 - £23.00 per hour - paid weekly (pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets). We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!

Job Roles:

  • Constructing timber stud partition walls as part of internal refurbishment works
  • Setting out stud walls accurately in line with site requirements
  • Measuring, cutting and fixing timber frameworks precisely
  • Installing noggings and framing ready for boarding
  • Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Working within an active school environment in a professional manner
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a neat, safe and high-quality finish
  • Keeping the work area clean, organised and compliant with site requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven carpentry experience
  • Strong experience building wooden stud walls
  • Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload
  • Good knowledge of basic site health and safety
  • Reliable and punctual
  • DBS advantageous but not essential
