DBS Carpenter Required! RecruitEasy is looking for an experienced DBS Carpenter to work for our client based in Taunton, Somerset.
Duration: 2/3 days
Start Date: 26-05-2026
Pay Rate: £19.00 - £23.00 per hour - paid weekly (pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets). We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!
Job Roles:
- Constructing timber stud partition walls as part of internal refurbishment works
- Setting out stud walls accurately in line with site requirements
- Measuring, cutting and fixing timber frameworks precisely
- Installing noggings and framing ready for boarding
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Working within an active school environment in a professional manner
- Ensuring all work is completed to a neat, safe and high-quality finish
- Keeping the work area clean, organised and compliant with site requirements
Requirements:
- Proven carpentry experience
- Strong experience building wooden stud walls
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage own workload
- Good knowledge of basic site health and safety
- Reliable and punctual
- DBS advantageous but not essential
