Licenced Asbestos Operative Required! RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced Licenced Asbestos Operative to work for our client based in Torquay, Devon.
Duration: Long-Term
Start Date: 23-03-2026
Pay Rate: Up To £19.00 Per Hour - paid weekly! Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.
Job Roles:
- Carry out licensed asbestos removal in line with legislation and site procedures
- Set up and take down enclosures, airlocks and negative pressure units
- Safely remove, handle and bag asbestos containing materials
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately
- Follow strict health and safety procedures at all times
- Use and maintain personal protective equipment, including own face‑fit tested mask
- Work effectively as part of a team on a long term industrial project
- Communicate with supervisors, site managers and other trades when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and compliant work area throughout the project
Requirements:
- Valid Licensed Asbestos Operative qualification
- Own mask with proof of a recent face fit test
- Experience in licensed asbestos removal
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Ability to follow strict procedures and work within a controlled environment
- Good reliability and work ethic
- Own transport would be an advantage
