RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced Sprayer / Painter & Decorator to work for our client based in Exeter, Devon.
Duration: Ongoing
Start Date: 10-08-2026
Pay Rate: £17.00 - £20.00 Per Hour - paid weekly! Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.
Job Roles:
- Applying masking tape and coverings over areas that are not being sprayed.
- Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job.
- Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
- Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried.
- Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces.
- Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach various areas.
- Preparing painting surfaces by washing, repairing, or removing old paint from walls.
- Preparing the working area by protecting with cloth or plastic.
- Removing rust and other loose materials using acid or a wire brush.
- Selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to create the desired spray pattern.
- Selecting and mixing the required coating liquids.
- Spraying designs using stencils, if required.
- Spraying machines, products, and wall areas using industry techniques.
Requirements:
- An eye for detail and the ability to avoid damage to existing painting/decor.
- Must be able to do basic lifting/moving of furniture i.e. tables to avoid damage.
- Must have a valid CSCS Card.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of painting and decorating and own basic tools.
