Freelance/Part Time QS (Roofing) Required! RecruitEasy is looking for an experienced Freelance/Part Time Quantity Surveyor to work for a client based in Exeter, Devon.
Duration: Long‑Term
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Rate: Up to £400.00 per day – paid weekly. Pay rate depends on experience and/or tickets. We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing valuations, variations, and cost reporting
- Preparing and agreeing interim and final accounts
- Assisting with tender pricing and cost planning
- Monitoring project costs and profitability
- Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, and clients
- Supporting commercial decision‑making across roofing projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the roofing industry
- Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and processes
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Commercially aware and detail‑oriented
- Good communication and negotiation skills
