RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced Carpenter X 4 to work for our client based in Cullompton, Devon.

Duration: On going

Start Date: 25-05-2026

Pay Rate: £18.00 - £23.00 Per Hour - paid weekly!

Job Roles:

  • Installing stud walls and timber frame partitions to specification
  • Fitting door linings, frames, and basic openings ready for second fix
  • Carrying out floor joist installation and structural timber work
  • Constructing timber frameworks, including walls and ceilings
  • Boarding works including ply and plasterboard fixing where required
  • Reading and working from technical drawings and site plans
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within site deadlines
  • Working alongside other trades to keep the build progressing efficiently
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area in line with site health and safety

Requirements:

  • CSCS Card (preferred)
  • Proven experience in 1st fix carpentry on commercial sites
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Good knowledge of site health and safety
  • Reliable, hard-working, and able to work unsupervised
