RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced Carpenter X 4 to work for our client based in Cullompton, Devon.

Start Date: 25-05-2026
Pay Rate: £18.00 - £23.00 Per Hour - paid weekly!
Job Roles:
- Installing stud walls and timber frame partitions to specification
- Fitting door linings, frames, and basic openings ready for second fix
- Carrying out floor joist installation and structural timber work
- Constructing timber frameworks, including walls and ceilings
- Boarding works including ply and plasterboard fixing where required
- Reading and working from technical drawings and site plans
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within site deadlines
- Working alongside other trades to keep the build progressing efficiently
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area in line with site health and safety
Requirements:
- CSCS Card (preferred)
- Proven experience in 1st fix carpentry on commercial sites
- Own tools and PPE
- Good knowledge of site health and safety
- Reliable, hard-working, and able to work unsupervised
