Recruit Easy are looking for an experienced Roofer to work for our client based in Bude, Cornwall.

Start Date

Pay Rate: £18.00 - £23.00 Per Hour (paid weekly)

Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.

We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting the structure of roofs in order to determine the best course of action.
  • Measuring and cutting materials to ensure that they fit securely around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls.
  • Providing clients with estimates on labour costs and materials required to fix or build a roof.
  • Replacing areas of clients’ roofs that are damaged or rotting.
  • Safely setting up ladders, scaffolding, and hoisting equipment as required.
  • Safely transporting all required equipment and materials to job sites.
  • Smoothing out rough spots on roofs to prepare the surface for new shingles or waterproofing.
  • Updating the supervisor on job progress and reporting any problems related to the job.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years roofing experience
  • Non-CSCS candidates considered
  • Own roofing tools required
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Roofer's Mate/Labourer role
  • DBS check may be required – assistance can be provided if needed
