Electrician Required!
RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced Electrician to work for our client based in Chelmsford, Essex.
Duration: Ongoing
Start Date: 21-09-2026
Pay Rate: Up To £270.00 Per Day - paid weekly!
Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.
We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!
Job Roles:
- General electrical installation and refurbishment works
- First and second fix electrical work
- Installation of containment, cabling and electrical accessories
- Lighting and power installations
- Working from drawings and site instructions
- Testing/checking completed work where appropriate
- Working alongside other trades as part of the refurbishment programme
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Following all site health, safety and security procedures
Requirements:
- Experienced and qualified Electricians
- Relevant electrical qualifications and valid cards/certification
- Previous construction/refurbishment experience
- Reliable and able to commit to a long-term project
- Comfortable working within a secure prison environment
- EL1 clearance is required for this project
If you are an experienced Electrician and do not currently hold EL1 clearance, we may be able to arrange the clearance process for the right candidate, subject to the required security vetting and criminal-record checks.
