Class 1 HGV Drivers Wanted – Morley, Leeds – £16.50 Per Hour
£16.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | Day Shifts | Ongoing Work
?? Looking for regular Class 1 work with a consistent weekday schedule?
Recruit A Driver is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an established general haulage operation based in Morley, Leeds.
You'll be transporting predominantly palletised goods using a curtain-sided trailer, completing approximately 3–4 deliveries per shift on planned routes.
If you're looking for ongoing work, regular Monday-to-Friday shifts and a clear delivery schedule, this could be a great opportunity.
WHAT DOES THE JOB INVOLVE?
- Delivering palletised goods to customer locations
- Operating a curtain-sided trailer
- Completing approximately 3–4 deliveries per shift
- Securing loads using ratchets and straps
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintaining safe and professional driving standards
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Recent Class 1 driving experience
- Experience operating curtain-sided trailers
- Confidence using ratchets and straps to secure loads
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points, minor offences only
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach
