About the Role
Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Driver for ongoing trunking work from Birstall to Scotland.
This is a straightforward night trunking role, returning to the Birstall depot after completing the delivery and reload.
The Role
- Trunk to Scotland from Birstall
- Monday to Thursday night shifts
- 23:30 start time
- Approximately 11-hour shifts
- Reverse onto the loading bay at the delivery location
- Unload and reload the vehicle
- Return the vehicle to Birstall after the reload
- Complete daily vehicle checks and required paperwork
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Recent Class 1 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Confident reversing onto loading bays
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
