About the Role
Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting 2 experienced Class 1 Drivers for an ongoing trunking position based in Leeds.
The role involves delivering palletised chilled food to a Coventry hub, with work available 7 days a week. Drivers will work a 4 on 4 off rota, with additional shifts available around their normal rotation.
There is no manual handling involved.
The Role
Trunk palletised chilled food from Leeds to the Coventry hub
Start at 06:00 with a return to the yard around 13:00
Additional collections available to extend the working day to approximately 1011 hours
Extra shifts available before or after your normal 4 on 4 off rotation
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Complete transport paperwork accurately
Maintain high standards of vehicle care and road safety
First day paid induction
Requirements
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Good understanding of vehicle checks and Driver Hours Regulations
