We are recruiting an experienced Transport Manager to join a national distribution company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, overseeing a large, fast-paced transport operation.
The role:
- Full responsibility for a fleet of 50-70 vehicles across multi-drop and trunking operations
- Managing and developing a transport team of 6-10 staff (planners, supervisors, drivers)
- Ensuring full compliance with O-Licence, drivers hours, WTD, and transport legislation
- Driving efficiency, service levels, and cost control
- Acting as the senior point of contact between operations and senior management
What you'll need:
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager within distribution or logistics
- Strong knowledge of UK transport compliance and O-Licence obligations
- Confident leadership and decision-making skills
- CPC (National) preferred or willingness to obtain
