Recruit A Driver is growing fast and we're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant with driving / logistics recruitment experience to join our team. This is a 360 recruitment role focused on HGV, van and logistics drivers across Yorkshire. If you already know the driving market, this is a desk you can hit the ground running on.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client brief to placement
- Source, screen and register drivers (Class 1, Class 2, van, etc.)
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with transport managers
- Fill temporary and permanent driving vacancies quickly and compliantly
- Manage candidate availability, bookings and feedback
- Ensure compliance (licences, CPC, right to work, checks)
Skills, Experience & Abilities Required
- Proven recruitment experience (driving / logistics strongly preferred)
- Understanding of HGV & driving roles (Class 1, Class 2, van)
- Strong sales and relationship-building skills
- Confident communicator - phone, email and face-to-face
- Organised, resilient and target-driven
- Ability to work fast-paced and manage multiple vacancies
