Recruit A Driver are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to provide holiday cover for a long-standing client based in Normanton. This is a straightforward evening trunk run involving driving to Newton Aycliffe, loading the vehicle, and returning back to the yard in Normanton. The work is typically completed within 4 to 4.5 hours; however, drivers will receive a guaranteed 6 hours pay per shift.

Duties Include:

  • Driving a Class 2 vehicle from Normanton to Newton Aycliffe and back
  • Loading the vehicle at the collection point
  • Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
  • Ensuring safe and professional driving standards at all times
  • Maintaining good communication with transport teams

Shift Information:

  • Evening start times between 18:00 and 19:00
  • Weekday holiday cover
  • Guaranteed 6 hours pay per shift
