Recruit A Driver are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 driver to join a well-established timber merchant based in Huddersfield. This role is ideal for drivers confident with split gearbox vehicles and load securing.
The Role
- Deliver timber to residential and construction sites
- Complete approximately 5 drops per day
- Cover areas across Yorkshire, Humberside & Lincolnshire
- Operate split gearbox vehicles (experience required)
- Secure loads using ratchet straps confidently
- Daytime shifts, Monday to Friday
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Comfortable securing loads with straps
- Previous experience with site and home deliveries preferred
- Reliable, professional approach to work
