HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers Curtain Side & Flatbed Work (Chep Pallets Contract)
Location: Wakefield (Trailer Site)
Pay Rates:
- Class 1: £16.50 per hour
- Class 2: £15.50 per hour
- Overtime: Paid at time and a half after 10 hours worked
We are currently recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for work on a long-standing Chep pallets contract. This role involves deliveries using curtain side and flatbed trailers, operating from an unmanned trailer site in Wakefield.
About the Role:
- Work with curtain side or flatbed trailers, or a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
- Deliver Chep pallets to various sites across the region
- All vehicles are automatic
- Clear delivery instructions provided; regular trailer numbers may be sent via text
- Start time is 06:00
Driver Requirements:
- New passes considered (subject to approval)
- Must be confident using ratchets and straps
- Own smartphone required (to use delivery app)
