Class 2 Night Driver Birstall (Temp to Perm)

Salary: £16.91 per hour (paid breaks)

Recruit A Driver is on the lookout for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Night Driver for a temp-to-perm position with our Birstall-based client.

The Role: As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving Class 2 refrigerated vehicles.
• Safely unloading vehicles at customer premises.
• Delivering products for a leading coffee chain across the North East, York, and Leeds regions.
• Handling caged deliveries and ensuring on-time store drop-offs.
• Using handheld terminals for efficient delivery management.
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and promptly reporting any defects.
• Maintaining high safety standards and ensuring vehicles are always in roadworthy condition.

Working Hours:

• Start times: Between 16:00 and 18:00.
• Shift pattern:4 on, 4 off rotating schedule.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 UK license held for at least 12 months.
• Recent Class 2 driving experience (within the last 612 months).
• No more than 6 points on your license (minor offences only).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
