The Role
As a professional HGV driver through Recruit A Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely unloading goods at customer locations
- Operating Class 1 or Class 2 vehicles
- Conducting thorough checks on load security and weight distribution before and after each shift
- Reporting any vehicle defects and ensuring all deliveries meet company safety standards
- Completing daily vehicle checks to maintain safe operations
Key Details
Start Times: Between 06:00 and 08:00
Schedule: Monday to Friday (overtime may be required)
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A valid Class 1 or Class 2 UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
- Recent experience (within the last 6-12 months) driving Class 1 or 2 vehicles
- A valid ADR licence
- A Digital Tachograph card
- A current CPC qualification card
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
