Recruit A Driver is looking for an experienced Flatbed Van Driver to support a long-standing timber merchant based in Halifax. This flexible, holiday cover role is ideal for a professional driver confident with load security and flatbed work.
The Role:
- You will deliver timber products to both private and commercial customers, supporting with holiday and sickness cover throughout the year.
- Regular ad-hoc shifts available with immediate starts.
Job Details:
- Location: Halifax
- Start Time: Between 06:00 - 07:00
- Shifts: Ad-hoc, Monday to Friday
- Deliveries: 6 - 10 drops per shift
Requirements:
- Full UK Category B (van) licence held for at least 12 months
- Recent flatbed van driving experience (within the last 6 - 12 months)
- Proven experience securing loads using ratchets and straps
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
