Recruit A Driver are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver to support a well-established builders merchant based in Dewsbury. This role provides ad-hoc cover for holiday and sickness, making it ideal for drivers looking for flexible work.
You will be delivering building materials using a class 2 vehicle with HIAB offload only, meaning there is no manual handling required. Deliveries are local across West Yorkshire within a well-organised and supportive fleet operation.
The Role
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle
- Delivering timber, blocks, plaster, bulk bags and palletised goods
- HIAB offload only - no handball
- Local delivery routes across West Yorkshire
- Up to 15 drops per shift, planned across 3 delivery runs
- Providing ad-hoc cover for holidays and sickness

- Start times between 06:30 - 07:00
- Physically lighter work compared to standard multi-drop

Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- HIAB certificate (remote, hook or grab experience preferred)

- Moffett licence beneficial but not essential
