About the Role
Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 Night Driver for a well-established client based in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for a driver looking for regular Monday to Friday night work. The role involves straightforward trunking with no manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy long-distance driving and well-planned routes. You'll complete scheduled trunk runs to London on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with Palletforce trunking on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled trunking runs safely and efficiently
- Transport palletised freight between distribution centres
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
- Complete transport paperwork accurately
- Maintain high standards of vehicle care and road safety
- Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Recent Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
