Ready for your next driving opportunity? Join the Recruit A Driver team as an HGV Class 1 Driver! We are looking for an experienced and reliable driver to work with our Huddersfield-based client. If you are after consistent day shifts and local pallet network work, this could be the perfect role for you.
Job Details:
- Start Time: 06:30 AM
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Workload: Either Class 1 pallet network work with up to 5 drops within West Yorkshire or Rochdale, or general haulage runs. Some multi-drop deliveries across Bradford, Halifax, and Huddersfield may be required. Occasional manual handling and tail-lift work for home deliveries, though most unloading is done by FLT at the delivery point.
What We Are Looking For:
- A valid UK Class 1 license held for at least 12 months
- Recent Class 1 driving experience within the last 6-12 months
- No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
- An in-date Digital Tachograph Card
- A current CPC Qualification Card
