About the Role

Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers for a well-established client based in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular weekday work with a long-standing client. The role involves delivering glass products secured on A-frames to commercial customers across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and the North East. Deliveries are unloaded on site using a forklift, so there is no manual handling required. Full training is provided on the safe transportation and securing of glass products using A-frames and banding, making this an ideal opportunity for drivers looking to develop new skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete deliveries safely and efficiently across the region
  • Deliver glass products using A-frame transport systems
  • Secure loads using banding in line with the training provided
  • Carry out between 2 and 8 deliveries per shift
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
  • Complete delivery paperwork and PODs accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
  • Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence held for at least 12 months
  • Minimum 6 months' recent Class 2 driving experience
  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
  • Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
  • Willingness to learn and complete the full training programme
