£22.00 per hour total package
£17.00ph basic + £5.00ph expenses / allowance (Limited Company)
Initial 3-month contract - ongoing work available
Recruitable Staffing is recruiting experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians / HGV Mechanics for a specialist engineering contract based in Ashchurch. You'll be working on the maintenance, repair, servicing and refurbishment of specialist heavy vehicles and equipment as part of an experienced engineering team.
Duties
- Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Vehicle inspections and defect rectification
- Component removal and replacement
- Preventative maintenance and overhaul work
- Supporting vehicle refurbishment programmes
- Working to strict safety and quality standards
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
- Experience with HGVs, commercial vehicles, plant, heavy machinery or military vehicles
- Strong mechanical maintenance and diagnostic skills
- Basic electrical fault-finding experience
- Able to obtain BPSS security clearance
