Job Type: Temporary (3–6 months)

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour – 6:00am to 6:00pm, £15.89 per hour – 6:00pm to 6:00am

Shifts: Rotating weekly

  • Day Shift: 6:15am – 2:15pm
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:15pm – 11:15pm

About the Role

Recruitable Staffing are recruiting for Production Operatives to work in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment in Burnaston, supporting quality inspection and production activities. This is a hands-on role involving visual inspection, physical checks, basic rework, and production line work. Full training will be provided, but you must have previous manufacturing experience (quality inspection experience is a strong advantage). The role involves regular bending, lifting, and manual handling, with parts weighing up to 15kg.

Duties Include:

  • Visual and physical inspection of automotive parts
  • Carrying out basic rework tasks when required
  • Working on the production line
  • Recording inspection results accurately
  • Reporting defects and quality concerns to the team lead
  • Safe handling of parts up to 15kg
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
  • Following site processes and health & safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous manufacturing experience is essential
  • Quality inspection experience is highly desirable
  • Comfortable with repetitive bending, lifting, and manual handling
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Able to work rotating weekly shifts
  • Willing to complete full training
