HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights
Location: Eccles, Norwich, NR16
Shift: Nights, 4 on / 4 off
Start times: Generally 18:00-20:00
Pay: £17.25 per hour PAYE, with holiday pay accrued separately, or £19.61 per hour including rolled-up holiday pay
Recruitable Staffing Solutions is recruiting Class 1 Night Drivers for pallet network and trunking work based in Eccles, Norwich.
New passes are welcome, with onsite driver training and support available.
The Role
- Completing night trunking between depots and pallet network hubs.
- Transporting palletised freight, with routes including Enfield and Rugby.
- Collecting and delivering trailers as instructed.
- Completing vehicle and trailer checks and ensuring loads are secure.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and communicating delays to transport.
Requirements
- Valid Category C+E licence, Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- No more than six penalty points.
- No IN, DD, DR, DG or similar serious driving endorsements, subject to licence checks.
- A dependable approach and commitment to safe driving.
- Availability for 4 on / 4 off nights, including weekends when scheduled.
