Recruitable Staffing are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Production Line Team Leader to join their expanding team in Redditch. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced production operative ready to step up and lead by example on fixed night shifts.

About the Role:

As a Production Line Team Leader, you will be a key player on the night shift, ensuring your line delivers to the highest standards. You will take responsibility for supervising and motivating your team, maintaining quality, and supporting smooth, efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the packing line, maintaining strict product quality standards (appearance, closure torque, fill weight, seal integrity, boxing, palletising).
  • Supervise and support Line Operatives, ensuring clear communication of duties and adherence to safe working practices.
  • Accurately complete production paperwork for traceability and compliance.
  • Identify and report product non-conformities, halting production and escalating issues as needed.
  • Operate line machinery safely (start, stop, reset) and assist with basic troubleshooting.
  • Keep the production area organised, managing labels and components efficiently.
  • Coach and train team members, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing support.
  • Uphold all Health & Safety and company policies, including correct PPE use.
  • Record daily metrics, complete thorough handovers, and contribute to continuous improvement (5S, Kaizen).

About You:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with some team leader or supervisory background.
  • Confident working night shifts and leading from the front.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Great communication and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and a collaborative team player.

Shifts Available:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (nights) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (nights)

Each shift: 36.75 hours per week.
