This opportunity would suit someone who has previously worked in a furniture, cabinetmaking or joinery workshop and is looking to use their practical knowledge in an estimating and commercial role.

The Role

  • Reviewing drawings and customer specifications
  • Estimating materials, labour and production costs
  • Preparing quotations
  • Liaising with workshop and production teams
  • Calculating material quantities
  • Supporting the pricing of bespoke furniture and joinery projects
  • Contacting suppliers for prices and lead times
  • Updating estimates and project information
  • Helping ensure quotations are accurate and commercially competitive

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a furniture, joinery or cabinetmaking workshop
