Blinds Fitter   Location: London, SE15 Salary: £38,000 to £42,000 per annum Term: Permanent, 40 hours per week   Our client is looking for a Fitter to deliver blinds and curtains at customer's commercial and hospitality sites within London and the south east.   This is a practical, customer-facing role for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, communicates confidently with clients and can solve problems on site.   Core working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, lunch hour paid.  Some earlieror later days will be needed, and will be arranged in advance.   The role of Blinds Fitter   - Deliver and install blinds and curtains at customer sites to a high standard, in line with specifications and agreed timescales. - Represent the company professionally with clients and site contacts, maintaining reliable timekeeping across all visits and deliveries. - Identify and resolve practical issues independently, escalating problems when appropriate. - Handle, transport and store tools and materials safely, following health and safety requirements on sites.   You will also cover for the drivers of the laundry team when needed to cover holiday.   This would be a maximum of 12 weeks per year. To be successful in the role of Blinds Fitter   - Previous experience in a similar hands-on trade role is essential. - Strong customer service skills, with a professional, friendly manner and pride in the quality of your work. - Reliable, hard-working and able to solve practical problems confidently when working independently on site. - Physically fit, comfortable with manual handling and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a small team. - A valid UK driving licence is needed - joinery, electrical, trades experience would be advantageous The salary and package for the Blinds Fitter role   - £38,000 to £42,000 per annum.  Competitive salary, depending on experience. - Permanent role working 40 hours per week.
