We’re excited to be recruiting for an experienced 360 Recruitment Consultant to join a successful National Recruitment Agency based in Southampton Centre, with free parking. This is an excellent opportunity for an established recruitment professional who is confident managing their own profitable desk, developing new business across the local area, and delivering a first-class service to both clients and candidates.
You’ll have the autonomy to develop your desk within the sector of your choice, with a preference for candidates with experience in Industrial, Maritime, Automotive or Hospitality recruitment.
The Role
As a 360 Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, including:
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Generating new business and identifying opportunities across the Southampton area
- Managing your own profitable recruitment desk
- Winning new clients and growing existing accounts
- Sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates
- Managing both temporary and permanent recruitment solutions
- Building strong candidate relationships and maintaining an effective talent pipeline
- Managing the full temporary recruitment process from start to finish
- Understanding pay rates, charge rates, margins, GP and associated employment costs
- Ensuring all recruitment processes are managed accurately and efficiently
- Working collaboratively with like-minded colleagues while taking ownership of your own results
The ideal candidate will be temp-biased, commercially minded and confident in both business development and candidate delivery.
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for interview, you must already have recruitment agency experience and be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience working within an agency recruitment environment
- Experience delivering 360 recruitment
- A strong understanding of both temporary and permanent recruitment
- Knowledge of the local Southampton recruitment market
- Confidence with pay rates, charge rates, margins, GP and associated costs
- Strong business development and sales skills
- Excellent candidate sourcing and relationship-building abilities
- A highly organised and detail-focused approach
- First-class communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- The confidence and commercial awareness to run and grow a profitable desk
You’ll need to demonstrate an understanding of all the processes and have comparable agency recruitment experience so you can hit the ground running. All systems training etc will be provided and a full induction provided to support your integration into the business.
