On behalf of our client, who are a leading independent recruitment business, we are recruiting for a Branch Manager to join a local branch. This opportunity is to take over an existing branch and manage one 360 recruiter across temp, perm, blue collar and white collar recruitment solutions. Providing a first class service to all, you will lead by example and grow your team around you. Personally managing, mentoring and supporting your team to have the right attitude and professional work ethic, together you will gain a brilliant reputation and see joint success and continual growth.
Key skills will involve sales, client visits and regular contact with existing and prospective clients in order to gain business and fill each requirement successfully with reliable and qualified candidates. The Role
As Branch Manager, you will be accountable for the overall commercial success of the hub branch. You will lead business development activity, strengthen client partnerships, and drive performance against key objectives. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant ready to step into a leadership role, or an established Business Manager looking for their next challenge, with support and relevant training, if needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of the annual business plan, including forecasting and implementing strategies to enhance performance
- Leading by example in developing and executing tailored account strategies aligned with client goals
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across key accounts to support retention and service excellence
- Collaborating with senior leadership on pricing and margin strategies in line with business objectives
- Identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities within the local market
- Delivering against agreed sales activity targets and achieving financial KPIs
- Leading client presentations, performance reviews, and networking opportunities
- Building strong, long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients
- Conducting regular service reviews to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement
- Promoting a candidate-first approach, ensuring quality placements and a positive candidate experience
- Ensuring all processes comply with quality standards, contractual obligations, SLAs, and relevant legislation
About You
You are a commercially focused recruitment professional with strong leadership potential and a passion for building successful client partnerships. You will bring:
