About the Company
Our client is a leading provider of industrial recruitment and staffing solutions, serving a broad range of clients across warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics sectors. They are looking to appoint a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth and manage the full sales cycle within the Manchester area.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire business development process from initial lead generation through to closing contracts and managing ongoing client relationships. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with experience in industrial markets to take ownership of an exciting territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full A-Z business development cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to grow and retain accounts.
- Identify and target new industrial sector clients across warehousing, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and trends in the Bolton industrial sector.
- Work closely with recruitment and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of client requirements.
- Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and contracts.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven track record in business development or sales within industrial recruitment or related sectors.
- Experience managing the full sales process from lead generation to closing.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of the Bolton industrial market preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
