Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating heavy goods vehicles to transport goods and materials across the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across the UK

• Operate heavy goods vehicles, ensuring all necessary checks are carried out prior to departure

• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations

• Maintain accurate records of all journeys, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times

• Report any accidents or incidents to the transport manager immediately

• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained at all times

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid HGV1 driving license

• Minimum of 2 years\’ experience as an HGV1 Driver

• Good knowledge of UK road networks and traffic regulations

• Excellent driving skills, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team

• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings
