We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV1 Driver to join our team in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive HGV1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport goods to various locations across the UK
- Load and unload cargo from the vehicle
- Plan routes and ensure that delivery schedules are met
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the appropriate parties
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Valid HGV1 license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HGV1 Driver
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
