Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Rochdale. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner. We have both morning and evening shifts available.

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner

• Ensure that all deliveries are made on time

• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained

• Report any issues or problems with the vehicle to the supervisor

• Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

• Communicate with the dispatch team to ensure smooth delivery of goods

• Provide excellent customer service to clients

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving transport vehicles

• A valid driving license and a clean driving record

• Good knowledge of the local roads and traffic laws

• Ability to operate GPS and other navigation systems

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings and evenings
