Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Class One Driver for our transportation department. The ideal candidate should have experience in driving heavy vehicles, including tractor-trailers, and possess a valid Class One driver\’s license. As a Class One Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from one location to another while ensuring timely delivery, safety, and compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods and materials from one location to another

• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur

• Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radios, mobile phones, and other communication devices

• Follow company policies and procedures for delivery schedules, routes, and safety guidelines

• Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Class One driver\’s license

• Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in driving heavy vehicles, including tractor-trailers

• Clean driving record with no traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent time management skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
