Permanent Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Sutton

About the Role:
The client is seeking a capable Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive small animal team. The role will suit applicants with at least one year’s post-qualification experience who can deliver consistent patient and client care. Candidates will demonstrate competence across medicine, imaging and routine surgery, and will contribute to inpatient rounds and case discussions. The rota provides a balanced mix of early and late shifts, with 1 in 8 weekends and 1 in 8 standalone Saturdays. There is no out-of-hours or bank holiday work because inpatient care is provided onsite by an external OOH provider. Appointments are 15 minutes with built-in breaks and administration time.
About the Package:
The salary is up to £61,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with funded CPD and clear progression pathways. The team includes certificate holders in medicine, surgery and ophthalmology, and cultivates collaboration through daily inpatient rounds and case discussions.
