Small Animal Vet – Full or Part-Time – Exeter, Devon

The client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon who thrives in a first opinion role, enjoys a diverse caseload, and values building lasting relationships with patients. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in exotic cases, and the practice includes a separate Exotics ward to help patients feel at ease during their time there.

The Hours:

  • Open to full-time and part-time applications.
  • Full-time would include 38 hours per week, over 4 days with a set day off.
  • Weekend duties are shared among the vets to ensure a fair schedule. 1:10 long weekends (Saturday and Sunday) followed by a Monday off, and 1:10 short weekends (Saturday only).
  • OOH for inpatients only.
  • The practice prioritises work-life balance by outsourcing out-of-hours services while maintaining inpatient care.
