The client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive team on a four-day work week. Part-time applicants will be considered. There are no out-of-hours or bank holidays, and Saturday mornings are approximately 1 in 8 with time off in lieu during the week. The role can be tailored to individual strengths and interests. Candidates who have completed VetGDP and are confident with routine surgeries will be well-suited.
The caseload includes a broad range of procedures such as cruciate and patella surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and BOAS surgery. For those with a medicine focus, the practice offers comprehensive in-house diagnostics and dedicated hospital shifts, balancing inpatient care and emergency cases alongside consulting and operating days. The rota can be shaped to support a balanced mix of clinical duties.
About the Package:

About the Practice:
The practice operates across two sites, including a hospital and a newly refurbished branch. Out of hours, weekends, and bank holidays are covered by an external provider on-site at the hospital, ensuring continuity of inpatient care. Facilities include an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental radiography, endoscopy, Imagyst, and i-STAT, enabling thorough case work-ups in-house. The team comprises eight vets with interests spanning medicine, surgery, and diagnostic imaging, including certificate holders.
