About the Role:
The client is seeking an experienced Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and collaborative team. The role covers a truly mixed caseload with a busy small animal workload and scope to grow farm and equine services. The successful candidate will contribute to a 1:8 out-of-hours rota, supported by RVNs where required, and will receive a long weekend following any weekend on call. The standard week is four days with hours between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, and part-time arrangements will be considered. Candidates with experience across farm, equine, and small animal work will be welcomed, and there will be freedom to develop special interests with strong backing for professional growth. CPD is encouraged with a generous allowance and support for certificates, and professional fees and subscriptions are covered.
About the Package:
The benefits package includes a salary up to £60,000 p/a depending on experience and skills, 6.6 weeks of paid holiday including bank holidays, £1,750 annual CPD allowance with certificates encouraged and funded, Health Shield contributions, paid RCVS membership, VDS cover, enhanced family leave, discounted veterinary fees, Cycle to Work scheme, and company sick pay.
