Our client has recently undergone an exciting refurb and expansion of their practice and is thrilled to announce they have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their incredible team.

Type: Small animal

Location: Merton, South London

Practice Type: Part of a group

Facilities: They have great equipment including the most up-to-date in-house idexx blood machines, a new ultrasound machine, a new ridged endoscope, a new tonovet, a laser machine, and an amazing direct digital X-ray machine which is one of the best in the whole country! New dental X-ray machine.

Teams: Their Practice Partner is an experienced general practitioner with no specialties/specific areas of interest although client care is critical to her. She is happy to support and encourage additional certificates within her team. You will also join a friendly, supportive team of 5 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 Practice Manager (an additional RVN), 3 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 6 Receptionists. They have a variety of interests within the team including exotic animal medicine.

Hours: The role is for part-time candidates to be able to provide the best work-life balance! Some weekend work may be required. Everything is up for negotiation for the right candidate, so please do get in contact with us for a chat if you are interested! There are no OOH and only occasional sole charge responsibilities ensuring a healthy work/life balance.

Skills & Experience: They are looking for an experienced, client-focused, and approachable vet who is confident with all routine consults and surgeries. Needs to be comfortable with sole charge also.

Salary: Dependent on experience and total hours.
